Guimaras Festivals and Events

Ang Pagtaltal sa Guimaras (every Good Friday), Jordan, Guimaras. Lenten Presentation on the hillside of Jordan with locals as actors. This ala-Oberrammergau Passion Play has been attracting locals and tourists whose visit usually culminates in the trek to "Balaan Bukid".

Manggahan sa Guimaras Festival (May 22-24). A commemorative celebration of the anniversary of Guimaras as a province. Highlighted by street dancing, a technology fair, cultural presentations, painting and drawing contest, selection of mango bulilit queen, a marathon race and many more.

Kinaradtu (every 3rd weekend of January), Buenavista, Guimaras. A cultural event highlighting the towns beautiful legends, customs, traditions as well as livelihood.

Paraw Regatta (2nd Sunday of March) A race among swift and colorful native outriggers in the strait between Iloilo City and Guimaras Island.

Mountain Bike Festival (every July),
